Which cookie we use in the panel and why, and what else we keep in your browser.

1. In short
We use one cookie, and it is the one strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers.
Because we use nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookie, you are not shown a cookie consent banner. If that changes — for example if an analytics tool is added — this page is updated and your consent is requested.
2. The cookie we use
When you sign in, a session cookie named "__Host-bilgin_session" is written to your browser. It contains only a randomly generated session token; your credentials and your exchange key are never carried in it.
Without this cookie you cannot sign in to the panel, which is why it falls into the "strictly necessary" category that does not require consent.
- Purpose: keeping the session alive and authenticating you on every request.
- Lifetime: 12 hours for user sessions, 1 hour for staff sessions; extended while the session is active.
- HttpOnly: scripts on the page cannot read its contents.
- Secure and SameSite=Lax: sent only over an encrypted connection, and not attached to requests coming from other sites.
- When you sign out, the cookie is deleted and the session record on the server is revoked.
3. What we keep in browser storage
The two preferences below are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. They are not sent to the server and cannot be used to identify you.
Clearing your browser data resets these preferences to their defaults and signs you out.
- Language preference ("bilgin.locale").
- Theme preference — dark or light ("bilgin.theme").
4. What we do not use
We use no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no fingerprinting and no third-party analytics scripts.
Usage statistics are measured from our own server records, not by placing code in your browser.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie signs you out of the panel.
If you block the strictly necessary cookie entirely, signing in becomes impossible and no feature that requires a session — including viewing setups and sending trades — will work.
6. Changes
If our use of cookies changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes; if a cookie requiring consent is added, you are asked separately in the panel.
